Miso Savory Tea
Many people tell us that they have miso soup every morning for breakfast. By this they mean that they put miso in hot water and drink like a tea. It actually took us quite a while to try this out but once we did we were amazed. Delicious and savory this is a great way to start your day.
Ingredients: Hot Water, Miso
Technique: Boil Water. Pour boiled water into cup and allow to cool slightly. Add miso to taste. This amount is variable and really depends on what you are into. In general about a tablespoon of miso to an average cup of tea will do. Sweeten if you like with honey or maple syrup. We like to do this with amakoji. Enjoy as a gentle sipping tea to ease your tummy or as a recharge to recover from a hangover or rebound from an illness.
